University of Toronto and Michael Garron Hospital researchers celebrate World Patient Safety Day by engaging patients, families, and healthcare workers in activities emphasizing the importance of patient engagement in diagnostic safety. The event focused on raising awareness about the role of communication, shared decision-making, and patient involvement in improving safety and healthcare outcomes.
